We developed this program to engage students in ways that relate to them. We use running, walking, mindful stretching, and breathing practices to facilitate the experience of mindfulness that young people can relate to and enjoy!


Mental health, well-being, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, what does it all mean and what does it look like in people’s lives? We’re going to explore these topics through movement, breathing, and talking. The intention of this group is to take a retreat from self-improvement. We will discuss how to cultivate well-being and resilience to flourish through the ebbs and flows of life. This program was inspired by Dr. Heidi Walk and the ideas and concepts of its implementation come from Psychotherapist William Pullen and his Dynamic Running Therapy (DRT) program.
